Shawn Riley Senselessly Murdered
Following closely on the heels of a tragic incident involving the death of a young aspiring cricketer; Agha Faran Khan, senselessly murdered in a park in Allen, Texas, last summer, the USA cricketing community was rocked with another senseless murder this past weekend.

Twenty-five year old Florida cricketer Shawn Riley was brutally gunned down last Sunday, March 7 in Florida. The Jamaican-born cricketer, who was recently called to trials to represent the USA’s senior men’s team, leaves to mourn a two-year old son, his father Dave Riley of Miami and his mother Ena Rosedaye of New York, along with several relatives and friends in the New York and Florida areas, as well as Jamaica, West Indies.

An ongoing investigation surrounding the murder of Shawn Riley is now underway by the Miami, Florida police, as the entire cricketing community of the USA and Shawn’s fellow cricketers in the State of Florida mourns the tragic loss.
Like Agha Faran Khan, USACA seeks justice for Shawn Riley, and may both of their souls forever rest in peace. 

The funeral of the late Shawn Riley will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11am at Faith Christian Center, 11021 SW 176th Street, Perrine, FL 33157.
A viewing will be held from 2 - 8pm on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Jay's Funeral Home, 17420 Homestead Avenue, Perrine, FL 33157 - Tel: 305-255-1193.
There will be a repast at the residence of Shawn's father Dave Riley, 10530 SW 178th Street, Perrine, FL 33157 - Tel: 786-362-3847, immediately following the burial.
Shawn's mother Ms. Ena Rosedaye has requested that all cricketers wear cricket clothing to the funeral.
